Luck’s Custom Leather LLC 100 YEAR Warranty Policy
Here is my no frills, no hidden clauses, simple honest Warranty policy.
Q: What’s covered?
A: Every piece made by Luckys Custom Leather is built for a lifetime of satisfaction and enjoyment, I believe in this so much that all my craftsmanship, designs and material is warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
Q: For how long?
A: 100 years, did you just say 100 year? YES that’s correct 100 years!
Q: What’s the catch or fine print?
A: This warranty applies to materials and construction as long as it is used responsibly.
Q: Define responsibility?
A: This means exposure to any harsh chemicals like salt, chlorine, nail polish remover, cleaning products or conditioners that result in corrosion, discoloration or a breakdown of integrity of material. It also means damage caused by dog, cat or any animal chewing, pool water or salt water exposure, road rash, hammering, beating, kicking etc., is considered abuse and will void the 100 year warranty.
Q: What is actually covered then? (A really good question!)
A: If your piece doesn’t live up to what we said it would, then contact me at email@example.com or if you or I am no longer here, have one of your descendants get ahold of one of my descendants and we’ll take care of you.
Q: It is worn a bit, is this warranty?
A: We all age a bit with time, however Leather is lucky, it ages nicely with wrinkles, sagging and marks, so it looks retro, cool, worn like it has a story to tell, so no this is not warranty.
Q: Do the buckles still buckle, the flap still flaps, the handle still handles, the stitching still stitches and the rivets are still riveted?
A: If it is NO to any of these question then I will fix it up and pay for return shipping to you, if I cant then I will give you in-store credit.
But, If you answer YES to this questions, then you now have a good story to tell to your family and friends when they admire it because its only wearing in.
Buying online is tough, you can’t hold it or touch it or try it on. So, if you get it and it’s too big or small or heavy or uncomfortable, then contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org within 30 days and as long as it’s in like-new condition, then no big deal. The return shipping will be at your cost, sorry but it’s just part of the business of doing business online.
Q: What if I answer NO to any of the following?
A: Did you get what I said you would get? The colour was what you thought it would look like? remembering natural real leather will vary in shades? Is the functionality there (does it work as stated)? If NO to any of these questions, then, contact me at email@example.com right away and I will get you all set for in-store credit for an exchange, or refund you for the product as long as it’s in like-new condition when you return it to me.
Q: Did an accident happen to it? A paint spill, a sticky conditioner was applied, a toddler drew all over it with a pen, a skunk sprayed it, a motorcycle dragged it for miles, your cat clawed it, etc.
A: If YES, then start working on your story, because people will be asking you.
Q: Did you modify it? Burn your name into it? Cut off part of it? Remove something from it? or in any other way make it so that we can’t sell it again for full price?
A: If YES, then you are plum out of luck, maybe selling it on eBay may be a good option for you.
Q: Are you just plain bored of it? Tired of waiting for it to break in? Or you want to try something new?
A: YES, then try trading it for something to someone who will enjoy it. Again try eBay.
